Community Master Plans
		City of Eastpointe The City of Eastpointe is one of Metropolitan Detroit's older suburban communities. Typical of a close suburban city, Eastpointe reached its development capacity some years ago. The master plan effort in Eastpointe builds upon existing city assets with emphasis on community preservation and improvement. A program of improvements along the city's business streets is a prime concern. With DDA assistance, substantial progress in being made in upgrading commercial frontage.
		Groveland Township Vilican Leman has been providing professional planning services to Groveland Township on a continuous basis since March 1985. In the early spring of 2003, the township planning commission commenced work on a complete update of their 1991 Master Plan. Being aware of the review procedures set forth in public act 263 of 2001 the township has in the interim, updated its Master Plan of Future Land Use to assure compliance with the 5-year review requirement of the act.
		Bloomfield Township Vilican Leman has served the Township on a continuing basis since the late 1950's and assisted in developing the townships first comprehensive plan in 1961 and subsequently all plan updates that followed. The current master plan carries forward the goals and objectives expressed in the plan: To build and maintain a fine residential community and provide a living environment which will enhance the quality of life for all of our residents. The master plan has been the major supporting document in upholding zoning throughout the township.
